Nursing Experience

Research College of Nursing, in partnership with Rockhurst University, is offering a unique experience for high school students interested in this health care field. For four days you will work with other high school students on laboratory experiments and group projects, and engage in exciting discussions on topics such as ethics in health care. You’ll receive hands-on experience in a college science laboratory instructed by full-time professors. You’ll learn about the expanding role of the nurse in modern health care and gain valuable skills to use in your academic and professional career.
