McMeel Family Faculty Institute on Service Learning

The McMeel Faculty Institute on Service Learning provides support to faculty to redesign their syllabi and courses to incorporate a service-learning model. McMeel Faculty Fellows commit to teach at least one course with a service learning component. Faculty Fellows receive an $800 stipend as well as technical assistance and peer mentoring. Faculty Fellows will contribute to service learning at Rockhurst through their engagement in compelling and stimulating community-based learning experiences, and by disseminating that knowledge to their colleagues.
